It is with a very heavy heart that my husband and I are thinking of re-homing our beloved cat Alfie. We had a baby over a year ago and it's been a nightmare ever since then with Alfie, and we have tried and done everything that we can think of to make it work for us, and for Alfie. We have spoken to the vets, taken much advice and tried so many different things, but Alfie is just not happy in our home anymore, and we do not think that he will be happy in a household with children. I've not made the final decision yet to do this, but your re-homing centre has been recommended to us by a friend, and therefore I am contacting you to see if I can get some more information from you about the process. I've had a thorough look over your website and it does seem to be a lovely place if we do make the final decision that it is what is best for Alfie. Alfie is cross-breed domestic short hair cat who is approximately 4 years old, and is fully black in colour. We took him when he was about 9 months old from a friend at work. He is microchipped, has been neutered and has all the up to date vacinations. He recently had some small warts removed from his face and the vet is now satisfied that no further treatment is required in that respect. He recently had a lot of blood tests carried out because of these warts, and the results shows that he is in complete full health. However, he is showing that he is unhappy in our home, and therefore, I would like to know some more information about the process we would need to go through if we decide it is what is best for all of us

I am female and approx 11 years old, unfortunately due to personal circumstances my owners can no longer look after me. I originally came from Woodgreen animal rescue and would prefer not to go back there, so would like a kind person to take me into their home and give me lots of love and care.
I do not really like other animals and prefer to be on my own, I am a bit of a windbag and do swear from time to time, however this is just harmless noise as I am not aggressive. I am very much an indoor cat and only like to venture out when I have to, I do like my own space and a comfortable chair.
I would be suitable to live with an older family, who can continue to give me the love I deserve.

Please find attached picture of gizmo as per our telephone conversation earlier this evening. He is a pedigree exotic persian ( all papers etc available) he is neutered and has all injections etc. Gizmo is 18 mth old and a fantastic house cat. He is extremely laid back and gentle, loves hours of petting and playing and it is with great regret that we have to give him up due to a severe allergy. Poppet is a very pretty tortoiseshell cat who is very mischievous and likes to play especially with bits of string or shoe laces.Poppet does like fuss but when she gets bored she justwanders off; she's not really a lap cat although she is very affectionate when she hears a tin open or the biscuit box rattle.She is 3 years old and is Maddie's sister.She has been spayed and she is micro chipped.She is used to being outside and she is a bit of a hunter so has to be kept in early morning and late evening especially in the spring.
Maddie is the smallest of the four cats, 3 years old and is Poppet’s sister, she has beautiful tabby markings, she is the most affectionate of the cats and she will spend all day sitting in your lap if you let her.She has an obsession with hair bobbles and loves to throw them in the air and run round with them in her mouth or batting them across the room. She has been spayed and micro chipped.
Skitz is a big fat ginger tom who is very lazy but very affectionate if he feels he is not getting enough attention he will head butt your hand, and when he’s had enough he’ll just wander off to a corner and sleep.He is 10 years old and doesn’t like loud noises or lots of hustle and bustle; he’s a very sedate old boy who sleeps a lot.He has been neutered.
Black Cat was a stray that we took in when we moved to the house we think he is about 11 years old.He is very skittish and likes to sit on his own or sleep in a warm corner.He doesn’t really like fuss but sometimes he will come and sit next to you on the sofa and go to sleep.He is easily startled and requires patience before he will come to you unless you are feeding him.He has been neutered.

Jess is 7 she has been neutered, she likes to play not great with cuddles but likes to suckle on my arm. she doesnt like other cats not ones that come in the garden anyway,she is fine with kids, lets you know when she doesnt want to be petted.she goes out but not for long, likes to play in garden when i have the back door open.i am devistated that she has to go but i have to now rent a room

My name is Lorraine, I spoke to you earlier regarding my two cats that need re-homing. Their names are Mickey and Mallory both aged approximately 9-10 years and are brother and sister, I mentioned to you about mickey's abscess on his head, both cats are very friendly and love to be fussed, both are black and Mallory is the smaller of the two (see pics) they our happy to be around dogs but they are nervous with them at first, they were also neutered at six months old.

I urgently need a new home for my male tabby cat Smoggie, he has been wormed and had his injections but not been neutured, he is a very loving cat he is around 8 months old and the rehoming is through no fault of his. We have an Alaskan Malamute puppy who is making his life a misery, chasing him, trying to get hold of him by the scruff of his neck (which he actually did with our other cat who has now been rehomed with my daughter). I dont want Smoggie to get hurt so think the best thing for him is to be given a new home where he can be a cat. We assumed that as the puppy was young and the cats were young that they would eventually get used to each other but as the puppy has got bigger he is just getting rougher with the cats, hence the reason I took the decision to rehome them. This has been a really hard decision as I adore my cats but have to think abouts whats best for them. If you can help find Smoggie a new more peaceful home

Further to the phone call with you this afternoon. Please find attached a photo of Cassey and Starr. Unfortunately my boyfriend's mum can not look after them anymore due to poor health. Cassey - Is the one on your left. She is 13 years old. She fell off a balcony when she was a kitten which left one of her eyes damaged and a problem with the base of her tail. She can not raise it so it always stays down. She is very set in her ways and is not good with children or dogs (she frightens them). She is very loving of Starr though and will wash her at any opportunity apart from when Starr is play fighting with her.
Starr - Is 4 years old. She is a bit nervous around strangers and mainly men. But after she gets to know you she is a very friendly loving cat especially when she wants feeding.
Cassey and Starr are not related but have a very close bond. They have both been spayed. Starr will eat anything where Cassey will only eat cat biscuits and tuna.
I hope that you can find a new home for them as I don't know how much longer they will be able to stay where they are.

Hi we are looking for a new home due to our owners unavoidably moving and sadly we can’t go with them.
Our names are Toffee (guess which one that is) & Crisp (yes she named us after her favourite chocolate!!!) we are a brother and sister who love each other but don’t want anyone to know so we have the odd spat so no-one gets suspicious.
We don’t make friends easily so would be best suited to a family with no other pets, we do love children though even small ones!!! However we can get nervous and a little jumpy if we feel threatened in anyway so we get out of the way and hide.
We are both 6 years old, neutered and chipped.
Our owners will miss us very much and us them so we would appreciate a loving family that can give us lots of love and hugs and we will return it to the right people.

Sherry is Abyssinian X, is very pretty and friendly and I need rehome her because I am emigrating and for various reasons can't take her with me, I am alone, and have no friends or relatives who could take her in.
Sherry is about 8 years old and a very pretty, cute cat.
We have 10 days before her owner goes to finalise the move and then only a couple of weeks after that. NANNA is trying to find room for her, but if we can find her a home without coming into us that would be brilliant.

this is peppa she is about 18months old all black she has been spayed in jun/jul 2010 very friendly and great with kids as i have 2 boys under 3 she is very loving and affectionate and lovely sitting on your knee for cuddles will be sad to see her go but have to rehome her due to my 21month old son being allergic to her.
